  It’s taken me a year to figure out what to write in the nicest way possible. Dr. Omid S. Shay who’s called an MD, has poor judgment. My father who was diagnosed with cancer was a patient of his. Yes my father was an older gentleman battling all sorts of health issues such as kidney failure, diabetes, cancer and so on does not mean to give up on a patient. He has no bedside manners what’s so ever!! At the last couple days of my fathers death, my dad had caught the flu... now for a cancer patient who has a flu and on strong antibiotics, you DO NOT put them through a session of chemo!!!! Through this my dad got c-diff another deadly health problem that was the hardest thing ever. We couldn’t touch him not get near him without gloves, mask and a gown. It was and still till this day the hardest thing to deal with mith. My dad left to soon and had a whole lot of more life to live. The last couple days of his life Dr. Shaye said there’s nothing he can do and repeated he’s a diabetic and so on with his diagnosis basically telling us it’s a lost cause with no effort to help him or our family with the pain this has caused. When seeing for consults he was short with information, and when asked what certain things meant as he mentioned his tone would change with heavy sighs like we were dumb. If you have a loved one battling cancer, look else for someone else who takes the time to help not someone who sees multiple problems and thing it’s a loss cause.
