  One of the best we have! Always looking out for the people...not in his "mirror". I think of him as our VOICE when other Board Members don't hear us.
  I have known him for many years. Sterling character! One we can count on when we need leadership and support for "the little guy." It has been said...he and Sheila Kuehl have a "heart for the people" and their work...and their votes reflect it.
  As President of Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, he presides over millions of people and billions of dollars...and he does it so well.
  With a whole new Board under his direction...he is finally turning things around. We wish other Supervisors would instead of "fighting for position"...follow his lead! He's slowely...slowely unraveling the mess "stagnant thinking" let us slip into. This abis of homelessness...filth...poverty...has turned us into a "land of broken dreams."
  Wish we had more like him...
