    I love Mexicali. Maybe a part of that is how it's one of the first places I went to after moving to LA over ten years ago. I still think it holds up.

    The servers are attentive. The food is excellent. I always go with the Crab and Shrimp Burrito every time and love it! Decent beer selection as well. There's nothing super special about this place, but it's just a fun place to go.

    There is a parking lot in back that some folks might not know about.

    My favorite Mexican food in the world. Their corn tortillas are amazing. I still think of them over a year later. I would make a trip to Studio City just for those tacos. Their prices are a bit high, but consider the neighborhood.

    Had happy hour there. We were able to sit outside. My sangria and nachos were GREAT and the waiter was attentive. All the things I needed to make me happy.
