  A vanishing piece of Americana sits almost hidden a few blocks off the 101 on Van Nuys Blvd. Corky's menu covers the board for your belly. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, served as you sit in wide booths or at the counter like a nitehawk at the diner. This is comfort food from the era when it was just called food. Not your Mom's cooking, but nothing is. However, that kid whose house you hung out at? The one with the Mom who always fixed you a plate because you were always there? Hers! And that was mighty darn good.

  This place has good food. The restaurant itself is a bit dated and could use some renovations. But the food and service is great. also lots of gluten free options.
