    it is not often that you hear that a root canal was a pleasant experience. However, in the case of my root canal today with Dr. Scott it was. I have had root canals in the past and it was a miserable and painful experience. Those other dentists took forever and it hurt and my mouth hurt all day. Dr. Scott is incredible. I hate the injection of the Novocaine and it hurts too. I have never been told to breath in for four counts and breath out for four counts to ease the initial prick. It really works. I also figured that this whole thing would take 4 hours - it took a little over an hour. All good - it is now about 6 hours later and my mouth doesn't hurt at all. She has been my dentist for a couple of years now and she really is the best. Our whole family uses her and we are beyond satisfied. I highly recommend Dr. Scott and her entire staff.
